**Spoiler Alert

The truth is this week has been emotionally mind-boggling, which I suppose could be considered a mixed metaphor.

I had a dream early last week that I was standing on a wall and watching flood waters rise. The water was churning and muddy but I knew that it would soon be rising over my feet. Rather than just wait to be submersed I grabbed a board floating by and jumped on to surf the flood. This is a perfect analogy of my life right now as I just ride the waves of fear and awe and confusion and delight.

You should know that I'm using this blog to process all of these cross-road emotions and fully comprehend the hand of God in my life. So I think it is important for you to be caught up to the present moment and then in future blogs I will look back to try and understand how I got to this point and look forward to next steps and changes.

Fact #1 - On March 4, 2017 I found out that I was accepted to attend Harvard's Graduate School of Education in their Prevention Sciences Practice program.

Fact #2 - I leave for Paris with my Mom on Saturday, March 11, 2017.
